- Tuition & Fees
At Afro-Asian University (AAU), we believe that knowledge should never be limited by financial barriers. Education is not just a service—it is a lifelong investment that empowers individuals and communities.
Our tuition policies are designed with flexibility, fairness, and global accessibility in mind. Whether you are a fresh graduate, a working professional, or a researcher, we provide options to make higher education within your reach.
Scholarships & Financial Support
At AAU, we are committed to equal access to education. We understand that many students face financial challenges, especially those from developing countries or regions experiencing hardship. For this reason, we provide several avenues of support:
Merit-Based Scholarships: Awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance during admission or throughout their studies.
Need-Based Support: Available to students who can demonstrate financial hardship. Priority is given to those from developing regions and war-affected areas.
Graduate & Research Assistance: Master’s and PhD candidates engaged in impactful research may qualify for partial support or tuition reduction.
Humanitarian Tuition Relief: In alignment with our vision of education without borders, special consideration is given to students in warzones or conflict-affected communities.
Scholarships are competitive and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students are encouraged to contact the admissions office early to secure their eligibility.
Flexible Payment Options
We recognize that not all students are able to pay tuition in one installment. To ensure accessibility, Afro-Asian University offers a variety of payment plans:
Bachelor’s & Diploma Programs
Tuition can be paid in monthly or semi-semester installments.
However, students must complete full payment before end-of-semester exams.
This flexibility ensures that financial limitations do not block learning progress during the semester.
Master’s & Doctoral Programs
Graduate researchers may pay tuition in monthly installments or divide it across multiple semesters.
This system supports long-term study and ensures researchers can focus on their academic contributions without being overburdened financially.
Each student’s payment arrangement is confirmed through the admissions office, ensuring clarity and convenience for both local and international applicants.
Academic Regulations Related to Fees
To maintain academic integrity and fairness, AAU has specific policies related to tuition and examinations:
Re-examination / Grade Improvement
Students who fail in a course or wish to improve grades may retake exams during the summer semester.
A maximum of three courses can be re-examined per summer session.
A standard fee of $25 per subject applies.
Payment Responsibility
All payments made to the university must include bank or transfer charges.
Students are responsible for covering all costs related to sending fees, including bank charges, tax, courier, or shipping expenses.
This ensures the university receives the full tuition amount without deductions.
Registration Fees
Registration fees are non-refundable.
These fees are administrative and not subject to any discounts or percentage reductions.
These rules are designed to ensure that all students are treated equally and that academic processes remain transparent and consistent.
